What is generally said at the beginning of funerals?

  • I'm doing an assignment for English and I want to do a small skit where, in the beginning, there is a funeral. What is normally said at the start of funerals?

  • We are gathered here to remember the life of a person that was loved and cared for by so many ...................
    skit and funeral mind you just don't mix.


  • Our hearts reach out to the family, friends, and those who were close to....Then they branch off and talk about the person and all of the good things about them. Then they always say something about remembering the good times and even though everyone there is sad the person is in a better place. At the end thank you for being with us and we will now proceed to the burial
