Is it just the regular 6-8? I'm finding that isn't enough...I feel like I need naps and I'm ready for bed at like 8 lol. I usually would go to bed at like 10 or 11. Just listen to your body. If you feel tired sleep! The first trimester was always the toughest for me. I went to bed almost as soon as I got home from work every night. The 2nd trimester will get much easier and then you ll get tired again in the 3rd trimester. Remember your body is making a human being! That takes work! Besides, this is the one time in your life where you can be lazy ! Do it now before that baby comes, trust me! Congratulations and good luck!As much as you possibly can because once that baby is born you are not going to be sleeping well at night for YEARS!I try to get at least 9 though it is almost impossible as I have 2 toddlers that are obsessed with a channel called "noggin" which has preschool shows 24/7...After I lay down the law I stil have them goofing off in their room..as much as you cani get about 10When I was pregnant my daughter was 3 years old almost 4....I wanted to sleep all of the time, but I could NEVER get comfortable. I was always tossing and turning which made me even MORE tired. Ugh, I was always exhausted when I was pregnant. Im getting tired just thinking about it lol. Being pregnant takes a lot out of you and you have a 3 year old which is going to make you more exhausted. Just take cat naps here and there as much as you can...put your feet up and relax. Hope this helped a little for you. GET SOME REST!!As much as you feel you need! If it's possibly take naps or go to bed earlier! I don't think it will hurt anything if you don't get extra sleep but you'll feel better if you do get more!I sleep about 10 to 12 hours, it because the baby is taking your energy to grow. It's not a bad thing. It help you catch up on any sleep that you didn't have before. LOL!yes you should be very tired, your body is working extra hard... the only thing i can give you for some advice ( i have three kids) but everyone told me with my first, sleep as much as you can because when the baby comes you wont sleep at all! well that was so true, the fact that the baby doesnt sleep, but as for sleeping in until noon everyday, totally screwed me! i got so used to sleeping in all the time, it took me MONTHS to adjust when the baby came, and my body was soooo used to sleeping all the time, that i was just so tired and crabby and just horrible.. So i would say sleep in now, but then start to sleep less, maybe 6 hours for a couple weeks before the baby is born just so you are not thrown into a total shock when he/she comes. When i had my second, my first was only 16 months so i was used to not sleeping as well and did much much better the second time. Now when my third came iw as sooooo used to never sleeping that in the middle of the night i still wake up with energy. But congrats anyways!!! babies are so beautifulThe baby has you tired for no reason sometimes, it doesn't matter how many hours of sleep you get, sometimes your still tired that's what happened to me. But also my iron was low with both of my pregnancies so that might of been a factor and I wasn't taken my iron pill like i was suppose to.If your tired ...... sleep!!
6-8 hours does not sound like enough. You're growing a baby!! That takes a lot of energy!ALOT! Because once the baby is born... you won't be able to get any! :)
But yes.. a pregnant women should rest often to keep her body from over exerting itself. You got a little one in there to take care of! :)
Congrats to you!During my first pregnancy, I slept WAY more then 8 hours. I was lucky enough to have an understanding employer that let me leave two hours early (paid), so I would go home at 3:00p instead of 5:00p. I would sleep until my husband got home at 7:00p, eat and then we were in bed by 10:00p and I had work at 8:00a the next morning only to repeat the cycle!
Now, I have a toddler and am pregnant again and I'm lucky if I get five hours of sleep!when i was pregnant i slept about 15 hours a day remember it takes it out of you and if sleep helps then do it good luckAs much as you possibly can get. I'd LOVE to get like 12 to 13 lol. But it's nearly impossible with all the bathroom breaks I take at night now. So I probably get about 6 or 7 with work, and the interruptions at night. I'm so run down.As much as possible lol
xxxxI have a hard time finding energy, I go to bed by 10-1030 and i wake up by 8 30 or 9 and I still feel sluggish during the day. Your body just needs sleep and rest to help with the changes your body is going through, good luck!sleep is important! Get enough rest as you feel you need...I sleep 10 hrs a night and i think it's because i'm saving all this energy for when the sleepless nights come after the baby is born! lol..
good luck and good night!#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
