Hey I want to do med school after undergrad. What should I major in if the university doesn't have a pre-med program??You don't even have to major in a science. Most schools just want to know that you can take science courses and do well in them. So take the science classes, but there is something to be said for standing out. They may be impressed if you major in something non-science, it shows that you are well rounded. Technically, you could study anything as long as you complete premed requirements. The easiest way to do that is to major in something science related like biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc..Also, depending on what type of doctor you want to be, you could look for a major that deals with it..[ex..a surgeon majoring in anatomy]#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
