Is Plaxico Burress going to play again this year in the NFL? Is Paxico Burress going to do any jail time? If so how much? Could he get off with probhition or something like that? If Plaxico doesn't go to jail how long would the league suspend him for? How many games? Could he back in time for the Giants first playoff game? If he can't return how much would this effect the Giants in the long run? If Burress goes to jail for 3 years would the Giants still have to pay him his money would the contract be thrown out?I sure hope so, as a Giants fan. If he goes to court, it's not gonna be for a while, these cases always take a while to be put on the docket.
I think he's done for the regular season but he could make an appearance in the playoffs.Plaxico will not see the field this season; playoffs either. He may go to jail depending on what type of charges the police come up with. I would expect the case to be drawn out for a while, and Plax will most likely be suspended for violating the league personal conduct policy in 2009. As far as his contract goes if he goes to jail much of that contract will be voided, check out Falcons vs. Vick for a standard set. I don't know how his contract was set up either but I'm sure much of it is based on performance, and participation in the contract seasons.He is done for the year most likely. We are talking criminal action now. It is a shame, he has talent and is on a winning team, not sure why he would want to mess it up.
He doesnt deserve to be on the field and the Giants obviously dont need him.No.....He has been suspended for four games and if facing a minimum of 3 and 1/2 years in prison " Say hi to Vick" The giants are winning games without him but his presence will be missed. He commands a double team and that will be missed.Giants don't need him so i don't think he will be back this year.Not sure, but because his gun license was not only suspended in Florida, but not even valid in NY either way, he could see some jail time...or maybe a fine?I hope so. Without Burress so fa this year the giants have scored over 30 points in 2 of the 3 games and manning had his first 300 yard game since October 07 without Burress in the lineup. All he does is cause other guys to get distracted and make mistakes. Also they said on ESPN that the Giants are considering putting him on the non-football related unable to play list which would end his season.
