Dont you find it peculiar when certain folks state atheists have no morals out of one side of their face...?

Whilst at the same point and time place their god above the well being of their own children... glorify the almost human sacrafice of a mans son to a vain god that claims to be omniscient yet needs proof... That tells his people to... "Kill the men women and Children, do not even suffer the livestock to live..."

Can you really not see our perspective in the slightest?
Much of the bible would be thought of as crimminal... even genocidal...

The opinion of some Christians that atheists have no morals is laughable. What do they expect to see outside their churches? Anarchy? Have they not noticed that society functions quite well without god?

Who says that? I think people saying atheists lack morals are saying more about themselves than an atheist. If the only reason I wouldn't for example, kill someone was because god didn't want me to I would feel like I had a pretty sad life.
I don't think that's really a valid quotation to use from the bible, what has that got to do with atheists having morals?

I quit trying to understand religious dualism about the same time I quit trying to understand humans. That was about the time I began dating in high school.

People neglecting basic health care causing death of a child a ****** kid, or the asshole in Galveston TX that microwaved his daughter or here in the city I work in, a guy kills his girlfriend and then tries to eat her. Also not but three or four years ago the woman that drags her kids to the back yard and stones them to death... outrageous

Simple, why believe God exists?
Now that killing is considered bad they disclaim and adapt to the new world culture.
The faith has adapted to everything.
First they say that the earth was formed 6000 yrs ago.
Then bones of dinosaurs are found and they wonder why these things are extinct.
They say dinosaurs were the last ones to board the ark but died on the ark.
But wait ! Now science has once again disproved the faith as it was found that they were fossils, made since millions of years ago.
What's the explanation now?
They are fake and God placed them to test mans faith.

Atheists probably have higher morals than people of religion, but I don't think the majority of those people of religion place their god above the well being of their children. There is a small group of extremists that dont' believe in medical care, but they are a small group compared with all religion.

Yes, the Bible atrocities attributed to God don't inspire, but it was compiled for control of the masses. That is not what God is about.

Forget the Bible, it was written by men. The Supreme Deity is not as the Bible portrays. Have you no other perspective of God other than the Bible? Seek and you will find.

I never claim atheists are immoral, I just say it's vain to be moral because morality is a subjective concept.

But judging whether God's actions are criminal wrongs is like a 6 year-old running the justice system. Way to prove your intelligence. That's the only thing I question about many atheists.

From the atheist perspective, you cannot apply what you consider moral to other people at other times and places. To do so would be to imply that morality is universal, i.e. behavior that we all (all times, all people, all places) ought (not just should) obey. That would require God.

You use the concept of universal law to attack God who is the only possible source of universal law.

commonly, if anyone has a problem with my atheism, it is that right there they yell to me -- 'you can't have values' or 'it isn't possible for you to have morals' -- yeah. righhhhht. and that's why i'm far less of a sinner than you are? that's why i care more about my fellow (wo)man than you do? that's why i purposefully avoid stepping on ants -- because i don't know the meaning of life?

One of my born again friends sent me an email about a church full of people who stay even though gun men let them leave to prove their allegiance to god. I let her know that if parents stayed with children they were unethical. I don't know why they can't see this.
