How old were you when you went out on your first date, and did your parents approve?

No, my parents did not approve any date� � so I always dated behind their backs (until they found out and we had a big drama at home� �). The first real date I had with 15, but in the end it was nothing really serious.
When I was 17 I was seriously in love and my parents found out and made a big scandal out of it� � they even involved the guys family.
So his family was exactly as stubborn and old fashioned than mine and they quickly found a girl to get married with him� � and he firstly said he won´t and that we will go away together� � but well, I guess the sensation was too big for him: They gave him a proper house, new car and what else do I know� � I always felt that he sold himself� � and after a time I thought that it was better that way, as it seems to be his real character and he probably would have sold me for less� �
I got engaged with somebody who I did not like or dislike... but I decided to play the game and accepted everything. So my parents allowed me to date this guy and go out to restaurants, movies and even to dance� �
I had a plan and my plan was to convince everybody to let me finish my studies abroad. And I did.
But I did not come back for marriage, I stayed first in USA, then in UK and after that I went to Germany and later to Spain.
Of course I had various boy friends and several times I broke some guys heart and some guys broke mine� � but this is normal stuff.
I found somebody to love and got married.
My family freaked out, but in the end most of them came over to my wedding and in the end they had to accept my decision and now we don´t have any problems anymore.
That´s my story regarding dating and my parents� �

i was 12 and this guy was 17 and we were at church and he went and got some food and we went in one of the back rooms and had a "date". and our parents didnt know. lol.

i dunno i can't even get a date now when i'm 16

my 1st real date was when i was 20 and yes they did approve (well yeah, 20 years old is already an adult so why not)

yep, mines like everyone else, i was 12, and my parents didnt know it was a date... they thought we were just friends

im not aloud to go on a real date till im 16 but my mom will let me go on dates if theres other people there to, and my momjust wants to see if there polite and she makes sure they arent into any bad things

I was 12 and thought I was being so sneaky, but my mom new about it all along - and liked the guy and his parents. Otherwise I think she would have made sure I didn't leave the house that day...
