Why is it that espn and other sports networks always focus so much on the Cowboys? They seem to favor them over other teams. Why can't the rest of the NFL get some love?YES! And it seems to me that the refs always see when the other team does something wrong, but not as often when the cowgirls do something. It pisses me off every Sunday! Yeah. There are 31 other teams, youâ ™d think thereâ ™s probably newsworthy stuff going on with them too.
I guess itâ ™s because Dallas is a high profile team, one of the favorites for the SB, a team with a number of thug players, and a team with a media ho owner.
Number one : Yes they are like the spoiled favorite team of America so broadcasters do talk about them a lot
Number two : It's good for them to talk about the Cowboys because they always end up losing in the playoffs..( See Seahawks, Giants)
Number three: If Jerry Jones wants to be the next Al Davis better for us, in the future, the Cowboys will be 1-15 and we'll be dancing in their star graves...
Number four: Tony Romo is not all that great...he just was in the right place at the right time.
Number five : T. O. ( a.k.a The Overrated) is too much of a pansy to actually stay happy and help the Cowboys.
Number six : The Cowboys are nothing more than Hollywood actors with fake Texan pride.
Number seven : Who the hell wants to be Cowboys? That's what seven year olds used to want to be...oh wait this team is made of seven year olds.
Seven reasons to talk about them Cowboys...
I knowthere were high expectations for this team, and when they don't meet those expectations, people are going to talk about it. and there is always something to talk about with them in the media. you have the outspoken t.o.who always has something to say, and the troublesome pacman jones who is always getting in trouble. not to mention the recent roy williams trade. i can go on and on about the cowboys and so can the media.I think that people on here talk to much about them too. Yes, but what do you expect?Charlie, if something happens to Romo there will be free agent QB's lining up to try and start for them. They know that Jerry Jones loves him some offense, kind of like Al Davis in his prime, and he will pay them as well as make the deals to provide them with weapons. Anyways, to answer the original question, they are the highest profile team in the league right now (kind of like Jerry likes it). They are also viable contenders for the title this year, so naturally the would get a lot of press.1. They are the most popular team in the country. Sportscasting is a buisness like any other, and they have to meet the demand.
2. They are a great team, who is struggling with some strange issues right now. If that doesnt deseve attention, then what does?
But just take a look at these boards. Probably every 3rd post is an insult against the Cowboys. So its actually the people that hate them that are talking about them the most.the cowboys are americas team and the most contrevercialI completely agree. They talk way to much period, I can't tell you how often I say SHUT UP ALREADYI wish they would talk more about the Browns !!!! That is what happens when the owner spends a ton of money on cocky, immoral players. If something happens to Romo, I bet that Jerry Jones will try to get Michael Vick to play for the Cowboys.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
