Alabama Crimson Tide?
Texas has a decent o-line, but their defense is pathetic.
And remember, the Big 12 is the best conference.
Alabama is very good but I think that calling them dominant is a stretch:
'Bama has only 10 sacks which puts them at 9th in the SEC
'Bama has allowed 6 sacks which puts them at 5th in the SEC
I submit that not being in the top 3 in either of these categories indicates a lack of dominance.
'Bama is 1st in rushing offense which indicates that the offensive line is playing very well but Florida is averaging about 30 fewer yards per game. A margin of 30 yards is far from dominant.
The story is the same in regards to rushing defense. Alabama has a 2 yard edge in yards allowed per game. That isn't dominance.
Alabama has a very good defense but claiming that their lines are dominating just isn't true.
And, for what it's worth, the Big 12 is a better conference this year than the SEC. The QB play in the SEC is too weak this year. I don't think the Big 12 will be to sustain their edge over the SEC for more than a year or two but as things are right now the Big 12 is better and deeper.
