Hello,
I'm rewriting a white paper for an IT services company and I'd like to
add a statistic for the percentage of corporate data that is on
individual laptops and PCs and not on company servers. (Business data
not stored on the company's server does not get backed up regularly
and is therefore at risk if the laptop/PC is stolen or
destroyed.)
Obviously this would be a rather rough number since it's difficult to
quantify, so an estimated range is acceptable.
Thanks!Hi Marykayems!

?According to The International Data Corporation (IDC), at every
company from the smallest business to the Global 2000, an estimated 60
percent of vital data is stored on individual PCs, with little or no
protection. Less than 8 percent of users backup their data on a daily
basis.?
