odbc 3.0 issue on German Win2k
i installed the latest MDAC (2.8) and Jet (4.0 SP8) on my German version of Windows 2000, but the OP installation still doesnt detect the odbc 3.0 driver - although i see it in the system - odbc dialog ("Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)" 4.00.something)
is there a known issue with foreign language systems??

When you downloaded the MDAC and the Jet from MS did you select the German Language from the Download page and also the proper version for your computer then reboot after installing even though it may have not asked you too?
If you did then you might try uninstalling and reinstalling them.
