Kirkland-based WaveLink Corporation, a wireless platform technology developer that enables enterprises to develop, manage and deploy wireless applications, announced today that they have acquired Midvale, Utah-based ROI Systems, a wireless software provider focused on terminal emulation, host integration and legacy connectivity.

The combination of the two companies will provide WaveLink with a substantial share in the wireless LAN software platform market with more than 30,000 installations.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
