When you are ovulating how long does it take to test positive on pregnancy test?

  • I am ovulating from the 11th to the 14th and we had sex last night. If I got pregnant how long would it take for a pregnancy test to show positive?


  • I was reading the first response directions and it said something to the effect that a pretty small amount of women can test positive before they miss their period. So wait until you miss, and if it is negative keep testing it can take a couple of weeks. Remember that it is the embryo implanting into the uterus that produces the HCG not the fertilization of the egg itself.

  • It tok me almost 2 weeks cuz I was afraid to test I took a hpt the first day my period was supposed to come but it was positie then the week after that it came out positive


  • APRROX. 8-10 DAYS AFTER OVULATION WITH A BLOOD TEST
    AND 2-4 WEEKS AFTER OVULATION WITH A HPT
    BABY DUST!!!!!!!!


  • Some people (like myself) take a test a day before their missed period and got a positive (Yay!) However, there's other people that need to wait a week or two after a missed period to get a positive result.


  • It took me 2 weeks.


  • Mine took just under 2 weeks, almost 4 weeks from day 1 of my last period. First Response tests generally are the most accurate and detect the earliest.
