Are you happy with the way Bo Pelini is doing his job or do you still miss Tom Osborne? How do you see the Huskers doing in 2-3 years?Bo's doing a great job. He wasn't my first choice to be the new coach (Turner Gill was.) but he was my 2nd choice. Yes we miss Tom Osborne being the coach. One thing is for sure, nobody misses Bill Callahan. Let's see last year (without Bo) we were 5-6. This year (with Bo) we're 8-4. Last year (with Bo) LSU was 12-2 and this year (without Bo) they're 7-5. I think the Huskers will be in the top 5 within 2 or 3 years, winning the Big !2 and maybe even play in the BCS title game.Tom Osborne will always be missed. I had style and was a great coach. Not sure if Nebraska will ever be that good again.Pelini is doing a good job with what he was left with when Callihan was fired.
Osborne isn't gone, he is the athletic director, and he is back for one reason only. To get the football program back to a high level.
That's why he is on paper a football coach and why he helps Pelini with the recruiting.
So don't think Osborne is gone, or that Pelini is doing it on his own.
