Belmont, MA was hit with a downburst Friday evening, 7/21, uprooting a number of trees, downing power lines, and causing flash flooding. The official report noted 7 power poles and 25 trees snapped in half. We chased from our back porch in Arlington, MA, 3 miles from the downburst, with a number of tree branches down and other damage in our area as well.
