digiMine Acquires CoRelations
With this move, digiMine will incorporate CoRelation's technology, intellectual property and customer base into its operations. CoRelation's personnel will join digiMine and will also establish new offices for digiMine in the Bay Area and Chicago, IL.
According to Usama Fayyad, Ph.D., CEO and president of digiMine, by integrating the technologies and intellectual property of digiMine and CoRelation, digiMine can accelerate the development and delivery of data mining services, enabling businesses to discover patterns in their data and apply that knowledge.
CoRelation's technical staff includes several Ph.D.s from Stanford University who have developed groundbreaking technology, including predictive algorithms, collaborative filtering, and text mining applications.
