| Seattle-based Auteo Media, Inc., a provider of online media, data and marketing solutions for the automotive industry, has acquired Northwest CarNet.
Northwest CarNet provides electronic commerce tools to over 25 Washington State car dealerships.
"In addition to their innovative Internet site development software, Northwest Carnet has developed a pioneering technology for auto dealerships to market and sell auto parts on their web sites. Both of these capabilities fit well with our strategy," says Auteo's President Steve Van Leeuwen.
The acquisition of Northwest Carnet, for example, will enable Auteo Media to aggregate the parts inventories of its auto dealer customers with the one million parts the company already has in its PartCart system.

The acquisition comes as Auteo Media is evolving from a regional, single business organization to a national, multiple business organization, offering an expanding portfolio of communications solutions for the automotive industry.
The company has already reported excellent revenue growth related to its expansion into the northern California automotive market.
