Bid.Com's ASP with MCI WorldCom Expands European Capabilities

[Toronto, CANADA] -- Bid.Com International Inc., which provides dynamic pricing solutions, has commissioned its first international Application Service Provider platform (ASP). Located in Dublin, Ireland, this development positions Bid.Com to support clients and partners in staging dynamic pricing events online throughout Europe.

Jim Moskos, president of Bid.Com Technologies Group reported that the ASP is located at MCI WorldCom's Dublin-based Operations Centre, using Hewlett Packard platforms."

"The installed architecture is highly expandable and is capable of serving hundreds of thousands of unique site visitors daily," added Moskos. "In addition, if ever required, the site can act as a global back-up for Bid.Com's North American operations."
