Shower Drain Hair covers in the UK

  • What is and were can I buy the best shower drain covers within the UK. The cover should be easy to install in an existing domestic shower and be good enough to stop hair passing through.


  • Hi mickr, Well, I have found the standard drain for catching hair in the shower and it is available online, however, I've been unable to find a shop outside North America. I can give you a link to a US shop who is willing to ship internationally but the cost of shipping seems to be out of line with the item. Shall I post what I've found as an answer? Perhaps you could print out a photo of the drain and take it around to your local hardware stores. Thanks, hummer


  • Hi Hummer, Thanks but I really was looking for the UK. It is relatively easy to find the Do-It Hair Snares by Plumb Shop in the US, and some other types but I really wanted to find one in the UK. Regards, Mick
