Just got a new sterling silver bracelet (8 inch curb link) and I am just wondering, can I get this thing wet? will it tarnish the silver? the reason im asking is because I cant get it on by myself LOL. I need to have someone put it on for me so I really dont want to have to ask someone to put it on for me everyday hahaha. Can I shower with it on?It can get wet, but I would avoid it, because it will tarnish slowly over time. Even if it never gets wet, it still will get dark/dirty looking from the natural sweat and oil that your body releases over the course of a day. Avoid getting soap on it, even if you think you've washed it off, and if you need to get it cleaned, take it to a jeweler to steam.
