Cant play Dvds via samba
ive been using xbmc pretty long for watching
videos off my desktop pc.
so far everything has been great, but now dvd files play anymore.
i tried a few different builds but they dont seem to help at all, right now im using the 2006-01-01-t3ch build.
whenever i click on a dvd image .iso, .img, .nrg or .ifo file the player just doesnt do anything.
xvid and divx videos work fine however.
tried also deleteting the “0face008” folders under e:\udata & e:\tdata but it didnt help.

im thinking the problem is
unable to resolve exports from dll q:\system\players\dvdplayer\libdvdnav.dll
that just doesnt tell me anything, so a little help would be appreciated..
just guessing it might have something to do with mapping as it says in the start something about q: and milkvis errors.
im running xbmc as my dashboard since its the only thing i use on my xbox *:bowdown:
since you are running as dash, i think it's the xbe that is at fault. did you update the xbe in your root (ie c:) where the xbox boots from. both the xbe there and the xboxmediacenter.xml there needs to be updated to the same version as the ones you put in th xbmc folder.
ive updated only the .xbe (named as avalaunch.xbe) in c:\.
i got my xbmc in e:\xbmc\ but i dont keep the xboxmediacenter.xml or default.xbe in there at all.
ill try the other boot method which i noticed from one readme.
edit. ok now its working with the team uix's xbe shortcut maker v1.0. i thought about trying this before posting, but i was thinking that it cant be that since xvids and divxs were working.. but once again i was wrong ;)!
