Where can I find a user manual for a Geforce 8800 GT?
I got this card from a friend and there is no manual.... any help or a point in the right direction would be appreciated. :(
What most people don't realize is that nVidia is a chipset manufacturer, but they don't actually make any cards for retail sale. nVidia will come up with a reference design, but then it is up to the varied card manufacturers to make their own cards incorporating their chipsets and to sell those cards in the retail chain.
The reason you can't find a user manual on nVidia's site is because they don't actually make the card you are using... some other company, such as BFG or Chaintech did.
What you need to do is look at the card and find out who the manufacturer was and then go to their site. It is the manufacturer's responsibility to produce the user manuals for the cards that they produce.
