What's Wrong With My Computer monitor?

  • I have an old Phillips monitor. When I turn on my computer, instead of the solid green light on the on/off button, i get a flickering green light, and yet no matter how many times i move my mouse. It was working fine until a friend and opened my computer and put a new RAM in. We put everthing back in place. When I unplug it from my computer, the no signal screen still comes up...

  • It is probably a connection. Try the cords first Screen and power. If that does not work then re-seat the graphics card.

  • Hi! Have
you referred to your user manual , I don't know whats wrong with your monitor ,but I know someone how does .You can call him to find out his name is Jim at computer defender...708-4931300. he's very reasonable. hope it's ahelp... annie b.

  • You might want to try unscrewing the thumbscrews on both sides of the plugs for the cable that connects the computer to the monitor to remove it. The graphics card is located in the actual computer, not the monitor.

  • I think it's the cord
