Tickets.com Picks Delano for E-Marketing Blitz
Built on Delano's e-business platform, Customer Velocity is a fully integrated suite of e-marketing and e-service applications combining the flexibility of an e-business platform with the speed to market of a complete and integrated suite of eCRM applications.
Tickets.com has licensed the Velocity Campaign Management module within Customer Velocity, which includes applications for event- driven campaigns, newsletters, and surveys.
"Customer Velocity is a powerful, cost effective way for Tickets.com to improve our personalized e-marketing strategy," said James Lamberti, director of Online Marketing for Tickets.com.
"Today, 25% of all event tickets go unsold across the industry, offering tremendous opportunity for additional revenue both for Tickets.com and our venue partners. Delano's solution will help us manage the millions of highly targeted consumer messages we expect to deliver, enabling us to significantly reduce unsold inventory in the coming year."
Tickets.com's automated ticketing is used by thousands of entertainment organizations such as leading performing arts centers, professional sports organizations, and various stadiums and arenas in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and Latin America.
Tickets.com is the official ticket supplier to the 2002 Olympic Winter Games as well as the exclusive online ticketing solutions provider for Major League Baseball.
