    MENLO PARK, Aug. 16--Broadbase Software, a provider of customer-focused analytic and marketing automation applications, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire privately held Decisionism, a provider of analytic solutions for B2B digital marketplaces. The Broadbase-Decisionism combination represents a robust analytic offering for B2B e-marketplaces and will provide marketplaces and their buyers and suppliers with valuable insight into the complex interactions that occur within these marketplaces. Broadbase will issue approximately 475,000 shares of common stock in exchange for all securities of Decisionism outstanding as of the date of the transaction.

    NEW YORK, Aug. 16--Teen-oriented Web retailer dELiA*s announced an $86 million deal to merge with its 54% owned subsidiary iTurf, which New York-based dELiA*s had originally spun off in an initial public offering in April 1999. The transaction involves iTurf swapping 1.715 of its Class A shares for each dELiA*s common share. Once the merger deal is closed, the combined company, to be called dELiA*s iTurf, will trade on the Nasdaq stock market under the symbol "DLTF."     RESEARCH TRIANGLE, N.C., Aug 15--KOZ.com, a provider of community-enabling products that help companies enhance their presence online, and New York-based Internet Tradeline, an e-commerce solutions provider for small and medium-sized businesses, announced plans to merge. By joining forces, KOZ.com and Internet Tradeline plan to integrate their technologies in a way that will make it easy for its online affiliate network of over 600 local-interest Web sites to create contextual marketing opportunities that attract advertisers, users, and merchants. The combined company, called KOZ.com, will be headquartered in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina.
