Do you have to have a wireless router/modem in order to play eg: Halo 3 Online?
Mines wired and I dont use wireless routers/modems and I have to hook my ethernet cord from my xbox to my modem just to get on Xbox live
but yet I can't play on Halo3 Online, it keeps saying "Information cannot be retrieved from the Halo3 server" and yet I can play against my friends on my roster and even have random people join in aswell
and its been like that for a week (the info cannot be retrieved bit)
Any help please?You dont need a Wireless adapter to play online. Maybe Bungie is just having some trouble with there servers. But i highly doubt that since i was playing Halo 3 yesterday and even a little bit this morning. Maybe it is your internet connection. Maybe your connection is just a little slow and it may take a while for you to retrieve the information needed to play.I don't know why that's happening, but it may be a server problem. You can, however, use a wired adapter for the connection. It actually makes it better/more clear for online play.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
