she gets plenty of walks and she never does anything through the day she has the run of the house and was fine till she came into heat a month but now shes finished i throught she'd stop You should defiantly to have to the vet and tell the vet everything, what you feed the dog, how many times it drinks a day and things like that. I would take your dog to the vets first it could be that she is showing a need to mark her territory.crate train your dog. its the best way.If this is a new behaviour for your dog, take her to the vet to get her checked for a physical problem first. Perhaps she has an infection.Maybe the dog is drinking to much water right before bed or even during the night . Limit water two hours before bed and make sure it goes out and watch to see it potty . try that and see how it works . I have min pins and they make it 7 hours thru the night with out pottying this way . She need to see a vet. At 4 years old, she should have been fixed 3.5 years ago, unless she is some sort of amazing show or working dog.
If she checks out clear from the vet, then you may have to start getting up during the night to let her out. Each day, push the time when you get up back 15 minutes. So, Day 1, get up at 2am to let her out. Day 2, 2:15sm, and so on. Hopefully this will gradually retrain her.
And be sure that she's emptying at night before bed. Some dogs hold onto pee - especially unaltered dogs. They want to be able to mark later. #If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
