I NEED HELP TO WRITE SPEECH 'WORLD PEACE'!!.. need ideas..?

i have to write a speech about world peacee..
and to be honest.. ihave nothign to write about cuz.. peace hasnt actually happen..but.. i need some ideas please.. i reeeaaallyy need help...ASAP!.. thanks.. t-t
Well it sounds like you have an opinion already to me...you say it hasn't happened yet.. well if the topic is really as vague as "world peace" your thesis could be that world peace is an impossible goal that society will never reach. Did you ever consider you don't have to take one stance on the topic.. there are many aspects to world peace. Here's a list of things you need to think about before writing...

- What is peace?
- How is obtained?
- Is there such a thing as peaceful conflict?
- Is world peace universally wanted?
- What are my personal opinions on the topic?
- Is peace truly possible? Or is war a necessary evil?

Think deeply about the topic and look at all sides of the story. You know more than you think you do about the topic.... I wish you luck.

Don't have much to contribute, here's my 2 cents:

1. World peace is of utmost importance for the well being or even survival of man kind.

2. It must be achieved and maintained at all cost.

3. To achieve it basic human rights, democracy must be observed.

Did you know the effects of war are felt more harshly by women and children than by men?

Men may be killed in action, but women have to pick up the pieces after it's over. They are also very likely to be raped, tortured or have their loved ones killed as punishment. If there were world peace men and women might be more equal.

Just a little thought for you there to put into your speech...
